From Resilient Beginnings to Visionary Leadership

Hi, I’m Meg Carlisle.

I’ve spent my life climbing, sometimes literally (I once survived a 100-foot cliff fall as a kid) and sometimes figuratively, building businesses, raising a family, and figuring out how to keep showing up even when the path wasn’t clear. Those moments shaped me into someone who doesn’t just get through challenges, but uses them as fuel to create something better.

Today, I’m the founder of Platform Hair Co., a multi-million-dollar brand that started with a simple belief: hairstylists deserve more than burnout and broken systems. They deserve real tools, strategies, and products that actually work. Over the years, I’ve trained and coached thousands of stylists, built a salon from scratch, and created hair extension lines that are trusted across the country.

But what really lights me up isn’t the titles or numbers. It’s watching someone else realize they’re capable of so much more than they thought. Whether that’s a stylist doubling her income, a business owner stepping into leadership with confidence, or my own kids seeing the world with wide eyes, that’s what I’m here for.

When I’m not in business mode, you’ll usually find me on an adventure with my husband and two daughters, recording podcast episodes with inspiring people, or chasing down the next idea that feels a little impossible (my favorite kind).
